Dust off your shoes and join us for the 32nd running of the Festival’s five-mile, two-mile, children’s road races and two-mile walk. With categories for everyone from two to eighty-two the Festival Fitness Five is an event for serious competitors or for those just yearning to stretch their legs on a fine summer morning. Join us!
When Is It? Saturday, June 11
Races include:
- A five-mile run - 7:00 a.m.
- A two-mile run - 7:00 a.m.
- A two-mile walk - 8:15 a.m.
- Children’s road races - 9:00 a.m.
Registration begins at 6:00 a.m. at Kenwood Park. Maps are available at the Kenwood Park Shelter House. Races begin at 7 a.m. Children ages 2 to 13 can run in the children’s races, which are separated into age groups and begin at 9 a.m. Stick around after the races for an awards ceremony beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Each entrant receives a colorful Festival Fitness Five T-shirt. The top three finishers in each age category will receive a commemorative trophy. All children’s race participants will receive a ribbon.
A $20 entry fee and the downloadable entry form can be dropped off at the COMCARE Elm Street location: 617 E. Elm Street Salina, KS 67402. Mailed forms should be sent to COMCARE, Race Director, PO Box 2120 Salina, KS 67401. There is a $25 entry fee to register the day of the race.
