The Animeros Austin, TX
From the “Live Music Capital of the World”, Austin, Texas, The Animeros blends various Latin music styles that are sonically set somewhere between the lush jungles of Colombia, the palm-lined streets of coastal Mexico circa 1960, the small dusty cantinas of West Texas, and beyond. Their sound has resonated with listeners and tastemakers alike, and in 2025 their members were recognized as Austin’s “Best Latin Act” performing with their brother group Superfónicos.
