Artist Statement
When thinking about the Festival, I kept coming back to the intersection of the river, the music, and the arts and crafts that make it such a special destination event. I tried many images with the combination of these elements, some also including food, but landed on the final image because it sparked a balance of colorful energy and a laid-back flow. To me, that really echoes the Festival.
